Huxley vs. Orwell || Aaron Wayne Podcast 46

George Orwell predicted we would live in a totalitarian world where language is limited, censored, and intentionally confusing. Aldous Huxley predicted we would slowly descend into consumerism and numbing entertainment to dull our sense of power. Both men seem to have been right when surveying the America during the 2020's. In this episode, Aaron discusses this idea, revisits a conversation about gay pride, reviews an article about the power of Chinese beuorocrats working behind the scenes, how the Chinese have enacted dramatic laws--some good, some bad-- in regards to social media, crypto currency, and other topics.
